Fun
Fact. Does your coconut oil look like mine- all melted? That's okay!
At around 76 degrees coconut oil liquefies. It will go back and forth from
liquid to solid which does NOT alter or make the coconut oil rancid. There is
no concern in how many times it goes back and forth (especially when those big
tubs last awhile). We always carry quarts and gallons of coconut oil at the
office. Stop by if you need any!
Have a good day!

Just a Couple Wedding Pictures!
I had to share just a few pictures with you all! (Because of Louie of course!) Thank you all for the kind words over the past couple months. It has meant so much to Garrett and I both!
Louie perfectly positioned himself as a road block in the middle of the receiving line. Pretty smart.

A MUST TRY Refreshing Summer Drink!
Okay this is a must try drink for home. I was inspired by a drink from a local coffee shop in Nashville called The Jam. (If you are looking for healthy alternatives, almond milk options, sprouted bread, delicious food and drinks... you must check it out! Anyways...) It is super easy and amazingly delicious. The only ingredients are mineral water, apple cider vinegar and honey/xylitol. The apple cider vinegar is amazing for you (helps digestion, fights sugar cravings and candida, weight loss, balance out pH levels in the body, etc.). The honey or xylitol (for those on candida clear) helps to make it sweeter and nice and tasty! Also the mineral water gives it the bubbly/carbonation that a lot of people enjoy! Its a great transition for those who are addicted and wanting to get off soda.
Mix around 1/2 liter of mineral water, 1 TBS apple cider vinegar and 1 TBS honey (1/2 or 1 TBS xylitol). When you mix it you will see it fizz up. If you use honey you need to mix it well because it settles at the bottom. You can add more of apple cider vinegar or honey/xylitol as needed.
The bubbly water with the ingredients is very refreshing. Its perfect for those on candida clear with xylitol. (I know on the sheet I give people it says no vinegar but you are good to go with apple cider vinegar.) I find that every time I drink this I just feel better. Its hard to explain and hopefully you all will have the feeling too! Even if you just Google the benefits of ACV you will see all the great things it is doing for you.
Let me know what you think! :)

Easy Side Dish!
In need of a simple side dish with 2 ingredients? All you need is green beans and pecans (and coconut oil of course!)! Sautee your green beans in coconut oil. While they are cooking take a 1/2 cup of pecans or more and put in a zip lock baggie. Take a spoon, fork, cup, etc. and crush the pecans into little pieces.
When green beans are done add in the pecan pieces with some sea salt and pepper! That is it! It is simple and really tasty with the addition of the pecans. I always add a lot more in mine- so you can add as many or little pecans as you would like! Enjoy! :)

Time is Flying By!
Wow!! I can't believe that time has flown by and it is already the middle of May! It has been WAY to long since I have last posted. Life has been busy... in a good way! I have been putting all my time into the office and my patients, planning a wedding and moving! So needless to say... I have been terrible about updating the blog and posting recipes! Once everything settles down in June I will be back at it! Lots of new recipes, tips and supplement info for you all! Until then I will leave you with Louie's wedding outfit... pretty handsome I must say! :)
