Simple Dinner!

Want a quick dinner?  (It is what I made really quickly tonight.)  Its pretty complicated... are you ready!?

Mix quinoa and marinara sauce together for a simple, tasty, quick dinner!  There you go!  I had quinoa already made from the other night- so in a pan I warmed up 2 tbs coconut oil, quinoa and marinara sauce.  I would have sprinkled some goat cheese on top but I didn't have it at home. 

So instead of making spaghetti with white or whole wheat noodles, next time try quinoa. (For those on Candida Clear DON'T use noodles that claim to be quinoa noodles.  They have both quinoa and brown rice.  You want to stay away from brown rice on Candida Clear which is why plain quinoa is your best option.)  Maybe even make some meatballs to go with it!  Click here for a candida clear friendly recipe. 

P.S.  When choosing marinara sauce make sure it has no food coloring or added sugars (which can be hard to find).  I have found a really delicious one at Kroger and Costco with no added sugars!!  Make sure to read your labels because they sneak added sugar in all the time.  Enjoy!
